New Nail Polishes

Hello my beautiful friends,

Its been a month since I posted up anything. I've been busy over my assignments and work. Since now I'm half is done with my assignments, I'm taking a break. I'm going to try out some new nail polishes I've bought and some gifts I've gotten from family and friends. Some of the nail polishes aren't famous brands but the colours got my attention and so I got them to try it out.

Let's get into it....

I got this nail polish in Langkawi when I was on a vacation with my family recently. This turquoise green truly got my attention that I needed to get it in order to try it out, and to my surprise the colour isn't that bad and it dries pretty fast. It needed two to three coats to be perfect. I would use this colour for something casual or even an event. This colour gives me an eco-friendly feeling though.

This nail polish too I got it in Langkawi when I was on a vacation with my family recently. It is more to a brownish-gold-glittering colour. It needed two coats to be perfect. This would pull off with a saree that I have and it too can pull off an evening gown, maybe a wedding gown too.

This blue-glitter nail polish was given to me by my friend and i was too afraid to try it out until now. Probably because the colour didn't seem to go well with me (that's what I thought) because I thought it would a dark, dull blue. then yet, it was totally the opposite. It needed two coats to be perfect. This colour reminds me of the sea and its cool breeze.

This colour I got it in Langkawi. Well the reason why I got this is because I wanted to try out a grey nail polish and see how it turns out. I would say it ain't bad. It's light and it need two coats and it was perfect. I would use this for just everyday colour; maybe...hehehehe

I bought this colour from Langkawi as when I saw it I fell in love with the colour and I grabbed it immediately. The colour is so perfect that you wouldn't need two coats, but one coat was just more than enough to bring the colour to stand out. The Navy Blue (as I call it) is simply perfect for me. The bottle states "fast-dry", true enough the polish dried pretty fast.

This colour was given to me by my friend too. As she know I wouldn't have any of these colours in my collection as all my nail polish colours as bright-neon-striking-stand-out colours. This colour turned out perfect. I just needed one coat and it was just exactly like the nail polish bottle.

This colour, well I got it in order to try out something different. Well to my surprise this colour too was just as what you see in the nail polish bottle. I needed  two coats for it to be perfect in order to stand out.

Now this nail polish below was given to me as gifts including the base coat and top coat. this blue nail polish colour is something I've been wanting to try out for months and I finally found it. Here is the list of nail polish colour and coats I used.
  1. Sally Hansen. Hard as Nails. Xtreme wear. Colour code: Pacific Blue 420.
  2. Ciate Nail Tonic Hydrator (can be used as base coat).
  3. Ciate Speed Coat Pro (fast dry top coat).
  4. OPI Start to Finish (base coat, top coat, strengthener).

Here is some of the pictures below that I tried certain base coat, top coats together with the nail polish colour and some I didn't use a base coat but just a top coat. Let's get into it.

Here I used Ciate's hydrator and topcoat together with Sally Hansen: Pacific Blue (420). I found this amazing. As the nail polish dried and with the top coat for a finished shine, the result was just PERFECT!

Well here I used OPI's Start to Finish (base coat, top coat, strengthener) together with Sally Hansen: Pacific Blue (420). I would say for this you would need to leave the base coat and top coat to dry a little longer as it is a 3 in 1 treatment. In the end the result was still great.

Well here I didn't use a base coat but I only used the Sally Hansen: Pacific Blue (420) together with Ciate's Speed Coat Pro (fast dry top coat). The result was amazing, even when I was removing the nail polish using Sally Hansen's nail polish remover: moisturizing, there wasn't any colour stain left on my nails.

Well here I didn't use the base coat either. I only used the Sally Hansen: Pacific Blue (420) together with OPI's Start to Finish (base coat, top coat, strengthener) for the top coat. The result was amazing but when you don't use a base coat the for this technique, it left the blue nail polish stains a little on the nails and needed a little more time on cleaning my nails using the Sally Hansen's nail polish remover: moisturizing.

Well that's all I have for today. I'm going to enjoy my holiday and will get back to you very soon indeed.

Thank you for checking out my blog.

With Love,
Abigail
