Sally Hansen's Pacific Blue (420)

Hello my beautiful friends,

I was so freaking excited in trying out Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails - Xtreme wear - Pacific Blue 420. I made sure I was all ready and relaxed to colour my nails. Here is whar I used for the base coat and top coat.
  1. Sally Hansen's - Hard as Nails - Xtreme wear. Colour code: Pacific Blue 420.
  2. Ciate Nail Tonic Hydrator (can be used as base coat).
  3. Ciate Speed Coat Pro (fast dry top coat).

Well here's a result and I'm totally in love with this colour.

I can't wait to get more colours from this collection.

Well that's all I have for today.
Have a great day ahead!

New Nail Polishes

Hello my beautiful friends,

Its been a month since I posted up anything. I've been busy over my assignments and work. Since now I'm half is done with my assignments, I'm taking a break. I'm going to try out some new nail polishes I've bought and some gifts I've gotten from family and friends. Some of the nail polishes aren't famous brands but the colours got my attention and so I got them to try it out.

Let's get into it....

I got this nail polish in Langkawi when I was on a vacation with my family recently. This turquoise green truly got my attention that I needed to get it in order to try it out, and to my surprise the colour isn't that bad and it dries pretty fast. It needed two to three coats to be perfect. I would use this colour for something casual or even an event. This colour gives me an eco-friendly feeling though.

This nail polish too I got it in Langkawi when I was on a vacation with my family recently. It is more to a brownish-gold-glittering colour. It needed two coats to be perfect. This would pull off with a saree that I have and it too can pull off an evening gown, maybe a wedding gown too.

This blue-glitter nail polish was given to me by my friend and i was too afraid to try it out until now. Probably because the colour didn't seem to go well with me (that's what I thought) because I thought it would a dark, dull blue. then yet, it was totally the opposite. It needed two coats to be perfect. This colour reminds me of the sea and its cool breeze.

This colour I got it in Langkawi. Well the reason why I got this is because I wanted to try out a grey nail polish and see how it turns out. I would say it ain't bad. It's light and it need two coats and it was perfect. I would use this for just everyday colour; maybe...hehehehe

I bought this colour from Langkawi as when I saw it I fell in love with the colour and I grabbed it immediately. The colour is so perfect that you wouldn't need two coats, but one coat was just more than enough to bring the colour to stand out. The Navy Blue (as I call it) is simply perfect for me. The bottle states "fast-dry", true enough the polish dried pretty fast.

This colour was given to me by my friend too. As she know I wouldn't have any of these colours in my collection as all my nail polish colours as bright-neon-striking-stand-out colours. This colour turned out perfect. I just needed one coat and it was just exactly like the nail polish bottle.

This colour, well I got it in order to try out something different. Well to my surprise this colour too was just as what you see in the nail polish bottle. I needed  two coats for it to be perfect in order to stand out.

Now this nail polish below was given to me as gifts including the base coat and top coat. this blue nail polish colour is something I've been wanting to try out for months and I finally found it. Here is the list of nail polish colour and coats I used.
  1. Sally Hansen. Hard as Nails. Xtreme wear. Colour code: Pacific Blue 420.
  2. Ciate Nail Tonic Hydrator (can be used as base coat).
  3. Ciate Speed Coat Pro (fast dry top coat).
  4. OPI Start to Finish (base coat, top coat, strengthener).

Here is some of the pictures below that I tried certain base coat, top coats together with the nail polish colour and some I didn't use a base coat but just a top coat. Let's get into it.

Here I used Ciate's hydrator and topcoat together with Sally Hansen: Pacific Blue (420). I found this amazing. As the nail polish dried and with the top coat for a finished shine, the result was just PERFECT!

Well here I used OPI's Start to Finish (base coat, top coat, strengthener) together with Sally Hansen: Pacific Blue (420). I would say for this you would need to leave the base coat and top coat to dry a little longer as it is a 3 in 1 treatment. In the end the result was still great.

Well here I didn't use a base coat but I only used the Sally Hansen: Pacific Blue (420) together with Ciate's Speed Coat Pro (fast dry top coat). The result was amazing, even when I was removing the nail polish using Sally Hansen's nail polish remover: moisturizing, there wasn't any colour stain left on my nails.

Well here I didn't use the base coat either. I only used the Sally Hansen: Pacific Blue (420) together with OPI's Start to Finish (base coat, top coat, strengthener) for the top coat. The result was amazing but when you don't use a base coat the for this technique, it left the blue nail polish stains a little on the nails and needed a little more time on cleaning my nails using the Sally Hansen's nail polish remover: moisturizing.

Well that's all I have for today. I'm going to enjoy my holiday and will get back to you very soon indeed.

Thank you for checking out my blog.

Hari Raya Aidilfitri Celebration

Hello my beautiful friends,

Here I am today to share about Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration at my school today. After so many years I've finally gotten myself a baju kurung for this celebration and I love it so much. At first I didn't think it would look good on me until I tried it out this morning.
Since I was going to use my baju kurung I decided to colour my nails to match my costume; and here is a picture below.

At school my students dressed up in their Malay traditional costumes and we're loving their "fashion show parade" in the classroom; and here are some pictures of them.

I'm living in an area where there are all-round Malay community and during this festival my family and I always invited to their house for lunch or dinner. This time round too we were invited and we tried so many variety of cookies (couldn't get a picture of all) and it was so YUMMMYYY!!!

I just can't wait for the other festivals to come which are Deepavali and Christmas which is just on the way.

Thank you for checking out my blog. God Bless you! Have a wonderful day ahead!

It's been so long...

Hi my beautiful friends,

Yes it has been months since I've updated my blog due to college assignments and running around errands etc. I'm very sorry about it.

Even in my busy-ness I still took time to do some nail art works and I'm here to share some of them with you. Some nail art works I've done in this past 3 months.

Let us start with this first nail art. I did this nail art for EASTER. It is the representation of the GOSPEL MESSAGE in which I call in the GOSPEL NAIL ART. Each colour represents a meaning to the GOSPEL which is.... [reference: http://www.5color.org/5color.org/index.php/5-colors-of-the-gospel

YELLOW: represents heaven. The bible describes heaven as a beautiful place that God created for those of us who have a relationship with Him.
“And the street of the city was pure gold like clear glass.” – Revelations 21:21
BLACK: represents sin. Our hearts are filled with sin.
"All have sinned and come short of the glory of God." -Romans 3:32
Without Jesus Christ, we are doomed to an eternal death, an afterlife away from God and heaven.
"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus, our Lord." - Romans 6:23
RED: the blood of Jesus is red. Our sins have been washed clean with His blood.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have Eternal life." - John 3:16
WHITE: or clear on the bracelets, represents our clean heart. When we ask Jesus to come into our heart and to be our savior, we receive a clean heart.
"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved...For whoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved." - Romans 10:9, 13
GREEN: when we receive Christ, we are "born again." Green represents this new life we have with Jesus Christ.
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come." II Corinthians 5:17

The second nail art, well I asked my friends what they thought of it and one of them replied, Illa commented on FACEBOOK saying, "It looks good...combination of nature n sea...nice".

The third design was and all PINK DESIGN which I've never done before yet it turned out do well.

The fourth design is an POLKA DOT design which I loved so much, simple yet elegant in its way.

The fifth design was me getting ready for the FIFA WORLD CUP and yes it's pretty obvious whom I was supporting all the way through *smiles*

The sixth design is something I've been wanting to do for a long time. It was a dream come through when I did this. This nail art design was based on a Bible Verse that has been carrying me all through my days till today which is HEBREWS 6:19; We have this HOPE as an ANCHOR to our SOULS, FIRM & SECURE and which enters the PRESENCE behind the VEIL.

The seventh nail art was done just for fun before heading to the beach, so I wanted flowers that just simply flow through on my nails and yes it did and yet very beautiful indeed.

The eighth and ninth nail art was the CRACK nail polish design I did for two of my good girlfriends and they were so in love with the way the nail polish cracked itself into its own design which was very unbelieveable to their eyes.

The tenth design was just plain simple colours which I did for one of my teachers in school. She chose her colour as she loved a little shimmer on her nails and she mentioned that ladies around her age love a little shimmer on their nails compared to designs on their nails.

The eleventh and final design is the HEARTBEAT design which I fell in love with. Its simple yet says a lot about the person and their HEART

Well I hope I'll be able post up more designs soon and update you on new products that I will be trying in the coming weeks.

Well that's all for today.

Abigail

LADDER + GLITTER

Hello my beautiful friends,

How has your day been so far? Mine has been going well actually. Tiring day but it was all good. It is going to be a busy week ahead but I'll try to update as much as possible here.

Well today I did a nail design for a friend from church and I didn't think it would turn out the way it did. She's just got beautiful hands and nails which were 'perfect' to make the design stand out. It is called the "LADDER + GLITTER" manicure. Well here is it.

I just love how the colours 'popped' out so well and the glitter just simply compliments the whole manicure altogether. I can't wait to try out more designs on people this coming week and see hoe they would turn out.

Well that's all I have for today.

LACE that turned into a LEGO

Hello my beautiful friends,

How has your weekend started off? I know mine has been awesome with tons of fun.

Here I am to share another nail art which I did for my friend but turned out to look more like a LEGO design rather than a LACE design that I intended and I felt so bad for my friend and felt I made a mistake. Maybe if you see it you'll understand better.

My friend somehow loved it as she had another choice of wearing the purple saree for her cousin's wedding dinner tonight. Well I'm glad she loved it, but I've gotta try out something else soon.
Maybe a real LEGO design will come up soon.

Well that's all for now my beautiful friends.

My HOPE is like an ANCHOR; FIRM & SECURE for my SOUL

Hello my beautiful friends,

How have you all been today? The weekend is about to start...do you have any plans yet?
Well my weekend is totally booked and I'm very excited for it though.

Well today... Well FINALLY  TODAY I had my ANCHOR dream come true.

FINALLY I did my ANCHOR design on my toes and its my very own as it was inspired by various ANCHOR designs online and here is mine.

That hope, firm and secure like an anchor for our souls, reaches behind the curtain. Hebrews 6:19 (ISV)

This is where I got my inspiration to do an ANCHOR design onto my nails is because this verse spoke to me. God spoke to me through this verse  where all my HOPE is from the LORD and it is FIRM and SECURE which is like an ANCHOR to my SOUL; my aching SOUL longing for God's LOVE and CARE everyday in my LIFE.

I just wanted to share why does the ANCHOR mean so much to me and what GOD means to me in my life going through struggles everyday and just depending on GOD in every step of the way.

Just remember God loves you and cares for YOU!
God Bless all you.

EPIC FAIL

Hello my beautiful friends,

Here I wanted to try the stripes nail polish art by putting the base colour as black and see how it turned out. I'm sure others would have tried it and this is the result I got with black as the base colour.

As you can see it didn't turn out well and in the end the black appeared over the sponge instead of the colours from the sponge getting onto the nail....hahahahaha
Well through trial and error is how we get through life each and everyday with God by our side to guide us through. Here is the result when you use other colours as the base colour and black onto this is the result.

The difference is pretty obvious but anyways I still love both of it as the black base still has a little colour on it. Well my beautiful friends please do go try them out and do let me know what you got from it.

GIFT FROM A FRIEND

Hello my beautiful friends,

How has your week been so far? Hope its going good. Mine has been a surprising day especially today. My beloved friend sent a gift for me and she did say it was nail polish but I had no idea what nail it was or even what to expect, so I wasn't expecting anything.

This is what that arrived at my door this morning.

I couldn't believe what I saw...I immediately went online to check it out and it was a limited edition nail polish by BOBBI BROWN and it cost most than I thought it would. I truly appreciate her and immediately sent her a message saying I will try it today and I did. It is a soft pink colour with glitter in it. It's such a soft yet elegant looking colour and I applied two coats and this is how it turned out.

I'm truly in love with this colour even though I'm not a girl who likes pink but this is such a sweet colour. She just knew my dream, my vision and my talent so well that she had the heart to get me this and I love her so much for it. Thank you once again Cassey for blessing me and I wish you were staying nearby and not so far. I can't wait to do your nails when you come over my dear.
