Here I am after 1 week to show you something I've been working on. This manicure is inspired by MissJenFABULOUS whom is simply amazing and I love her nail art tutorials which are just so simple to do using the things you have around your house.
This manicure I would personally call it 'dots over dots' and you'll know what I mean in a while.
So here is the tools that you would be needing for this manicure:
- Base coat (if you have) - Elianto
- White nail polish (use this as your base if you don't have a base coat) - Elianto
- 3 nail polish colours of your choice - Sinful Colors
- Dotting tools
- Bobby pins (if you don't have dotting tools)
- Top coat - Sally Hansen; Diamond Shine
The process of doing this nail art tutorial (PS: sorry don't have all the pictures for the steps) or you can view MissJenFABULOUS video:
- Apply a base coat to protect your nails and if you don't have a base coat you can use the white nail polish as your base coat.
- Then apply the white nail polish onto your nails.
- When it is dry take any colour of your choice and draw a quarter circle at the side of you nail and fill it in. Do the same for all your nails.
- When that is dry take your biggest size dotting tool (or bobby pin) and dip it into the same colour of your nail and dot it at the edges of the curve (4 dots).
- Do the same above those big dots, do smaller dots above the big one's using the same colour.
- Once that is dry you can take your white polish and using the same dotting tools, take the biggest size and dot it onto the big dotted circles. On the circles.
- For the smaller dots using the same white nail polish place those dots below the big white dots and do about 3-4 circle depending how long your finger nails are.
- Then finally apply a topcoat for the finishing touch.
Do try it and let me know how yours turned out to be.
With Love,
Abigail
